Abstract

Granulocytic sarcoma (chloroma), often associated with myeloblastic leukemia, is an uncommon malignant tumor that rarely involves the breast. The few reported cases in adults were diagnosed by mammography and fine needle aspiration biopsy. Breast masses in adolescents are rarely malignant, but when imaging is indicated, ultrasonography is the modality of choice. We describe the sonographic findings of granulocytic sarcoma involving the breast in an adolescent patient.
