N1 - In one aspect, engineered dendritic cells comprising a heterologous polynucleotide that encodes a 1α-hydroxylase protein are provided. In some embodiments, the 1α-hydroxylase is human cytochrome P450 family 27 subfamily B member 1 (CYP27B1). In another aspect, methods of treating a subject having an immune-mediated disease comprising administering the engineered dendritic cells are provided.
