Abstract

• TEE is a necessary modality for diagnosing cardiac/thoracic bullet embolization. • In gunshot cardiac injury, lack of exit wound should raise suspicion for bullet embolization. • The bullet will appear as a hyperechoic structure on ultrasound imaging.
